This was my 3rd time coming. I had a family member in the hospital near by. The location and hours are so convenient. The ambiance is festive and I was greeted as we walked in. So many choices! I absolutely enjoyed my Gorditas! The supreme, chicharon and asado de puerco are top of my list. The hot salsa in the crock pots as you pick up your order are delicious! Here's the thing. If you're ordering to go. Have them separate the filling. Otherwise, you'll get a soggy Gordita. The coffee with cinnamon is wonderful along with the fideo.
Food is always fresh! Service is second to none we love this place for lunch! Diego was friendly and helpful our first time!
So incredibly good! Moving here from Brownsville I had trouble finding traditional Mexican food...everything seemed to be Tex Mex. Everyone is polite! Go get yourself a gordita and don't forget their amazing salsa...you won't regret it!

We had no idea that Dona Tota made its way across the border after being a staple of her childhood. The food was so fantastic and we ordered a couple containers of the meat to go and made our own gorditas with it for the next few days!
We stopped in today (Saturday) around 11:30 unexpectedly. It was amazing. Dona Tota knows wtf they're doing with these Gorditas. I pass by it a lot but have never stopped in! The service was great, fast. But you can also tell they take their time preparing everything to order. Amazing Gorditas like melt in your mouth. We got the Pollo Pibil, supreme, deshebrada, asado, picadillo and frijolito. My favorite was the pollo pibil and the picadillo. Will be back! The salsas are spicy so be careful :)
Honestly this place is a must if you are craving, actual, AUTHENTIC Mexican style gorditas. Well, maybe not this location but if this location is any indication of what this franchise can produce, than I'm sure any would work. They have a deal where you get 4 gorditas for 10$. Now, you may think 4 is to few but you would be wrong, we though the same, but honestly, 4 was plenty and while we continued to contemplate on ordering more, we finally decided that we were actually full. The kids went with the only cheese quesdilla which was nice but after getting the ham and cheese gordita, I'd recommend getting ham and cheese instead. I did the crispy pork which would be perfect if paired with eggs and beans. Pro tip for next time. If you are in the area and not to sure where to eat, go here. Also, dont be worried about the langue barrier, bilingual customer service.
